Hello, I am Lauren.

I’m the face behind the camera. My love for photography began in 2011 with the birth of my first daughter. Like many new moms, I kept my camera close by to capture every special moment and milestone. I had always admired the work of professional photographers, and over time, I discovered a true passion for photographing newborns and children—something that came naturally given my lifelong love for little ones.

Driven by that passion, I challenged myself to learn photography on my own and continue to educate myself daily. I’m now a proud mom of three—two girls and a boy—and documenting their growth has only deepened my appreciation for preserving life’s fleeting moments.

In 2020, after 13 years in the corporate world as a NICU nurse, I took a leap of faith and became a full-time photographer. While I truly enjoy capturing families, little ones, and expectant mothers, my heart is especially drawn to newborn photography—it’s where I feel most at home, most inspired, and deeply connected to my purpose.

What makes me different than most other newborn photographers?

There are many talented newborn photographers, each with their own unique style—but what truly sets me apart is my background in infant health and safety. Before becoming a full-time photographer, I spent over 12 years as a licensed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nurse, caring for and saving the tiniest, most fragile lives every day.

This experience gives me a deep understanding of newborn physiology, proper handling techniques, and how to ensure your baby’s safety and comfort throughout the session. When you hand your baby to me, you can feel confident knowing they are in the most capable, caring hands.

What I love most about newborn sessions?

Your baby is only a newborn for a short time—a fleeting moment you can never get back. I want to capture it all: the brand-new peeling skin, the squishy little cheeks, the pursed lips, and those sweet, involuntary smirks. These are the tiny, precious details that pass by all too quickly. My goal is to create timeless images you'll proudly display on your walls—memories that will grow even more meaningful as your baby grows.

"Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything." - Aaron Siskind.
