Hello, I am Lauren.

I’m the face behind the camera. My love for photography came in 2011 when my first daughter, Jayda, was born. Like most moms, I always kept the camera nearby so I didn’t miss the most special moments and milestones. I had always been inspired by professional photographers, and briefly studied photography in high school. I found a passion for newborn and child photography, as I’ve always had a huge love for children. I challenged myself to learn the skill of photography on my own and continue to educate myself more on a daily basis. I am now a mom of three, 2 girls and a boy, and try to capture every milestone as they grow!

What makes me different than most other newborn photographers?

Sure, there are many styles of newborn photography and many photographers who are very skilled in newborn photography. What makes me different from many of the other photographers, is my background in baby health and safety. I am a licensed and experienced Neonatal Intensive Care nurse, with over 11 years of experience. I care for and save tiny little lives each day on the job. I’m confident in the proper handling of your baby during their newborn session. I like for you to feel comfortable knowing that your baby is truly in good hands during your session.

What I love most about newborn sessions?

Your baby is only newborn for a short time, a period which you can never rewind back to. I want to capture that brand new peeling skin, the squishy face, pursed lips, and those little involuntary smirks. I want to create memories that you will put up on your walls for everyone to see, as your child grows quickly.

"Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything." - Aaron Siskind.
